The 8MSA4S.R0-32 is a sophisticated motor design manufactured to meet the needs of industrial engineers who operate high-performance applications and require low-inertial operation from servo motors. This motor is tested and certified to meet international standards, and it is also flexible enough to be used in several industries, including the beverage, packaging, and material handling systems. The metallic housing of this industrial motor belongs to IP65 protection class, it is easy to install, and is covered by a prime black coat which is resistant to corrosive liquids like water, dilute acids, and sewage. The drive designed for use with this industrial motor is the ACOPOS drive series from the same manufacturer. The cables required for the power and feedback connection of this motor to the ACOPOS drive are already ready-made by B &R, although they are not included in the delivery package, customers can make a separate order for them.
The 8MSA4S.R0-32 synchronous motor features electrical connectors present on its housing; this connector meets the IP67 protection standard. There are about 6 type codes integrated into this motor, and a thermal sensor is also fitted with its winding to monitor its ambient temperature and prevent overheating. The maximum permissible winding temperature for this motor is 110 degrees. The ACOPOS servo drive will automatically shut down the unit if the temperature exceeds this threshold. The 8MSA4S.R0-32 is not equipped with an air blower; heat is efficiently eliminated from its housing through the natural process of natural convection, radiation, and conduction.
