The 8MSA4M.E3-86 is an extremely efficient three-phase motor design built by B & R Automation with low-wear components that maintain its quality throughout its service life. This motor unit is an IP65 product intended to operate together with an ACOPOS servo drive and form a rapid response automation system perfect for machines used in the production of consumer goods in the food, plastic, and robotics industries. The compact housing size of this industrial motor unit allows it to have a low weight, making its handling very easy. As a permanent magnet device, this motor uses neodymium magnetic material, which provides a favorable motor construction and results in its characteristic dynamic property. Upon installation, the maximum acceleration of this product is about 80,000 radians per second square, and its maximum operation speed is also estimated to be about 12,000 revolutions per minute.
The 8MSA4M.E3-86 unit is protected from overtemperature damage by a thermistor that is integrated into its winding. This thermistor communicates with the connected controller, allowing for an automatic disconnection of the motor when the winding temperature reaches 140 degrees Celsius.
