Product Description:
B&R Automation manufacture's products for industrial automation systems that includes the 8MSA3M.R0-42 servo motor. The four mounting holes and square flange faceplate make for a sturdy assembly. Two circular connectors stick out from the top cover and are attached to the motor case at right angles.
The 8MSA3M.R0-42 servo motor takes input voltages up to 330 V and outputs currents up to 1.40 A. With a peak current of 1.70 A, it is possible to operate under heavy loads for brief periods of time. Consistent torque even at high speeds is possible because of the rated speed of 6,000 RPM. Torque ratings range from 1.0 Nm to 1.3 Nm. The motor's connection is attached to a hollow, keyed steel shaft. A metal flange with a brushed finish holds the shaft in place. The housing is strong and covered in a semi-matte coating. The motor is guarded against dust and splashes with an IP64 rating. There is no fan housing or brake on the motor. There are two color-coded connectors: one for power (reddish-brown pins) and one for encoder/signal (white pins). Power and encoder operations are handled independently by the connectors. There are four screws that secure the rear endplate, and other than that, it is completely plain. Attached to the upper side and positioned perpendicular to the motor body are the connectors.
The 8MSA3M.R0-42 servo motor is made of Class F insulation, which makes it last longer in tough environmental conditions. They enable users to receive input and regulate pace and position. The servo motor is an optimal choice for control systems that necessitate continuous operation and precision. It is mechanically compatible and consistent with square mounting interfaces in terms of electrical properties. Industrial automation systems can be seamlessly integrated as a result of the servo motor's connector orientation and design.
Frequently Asked Questions about 8MSA3M.R0-42:
Q: Why is the IP64 rating important for 8MSA3M.R0-42?
A: IP64 ensures the servo motor is dust-tight and splash resistant. This helps protect internal components and maintain electrical reliability during operation.
Q: How does the 8MSA3M.R0-42 connector orientation benefit integration?
A: Its perpendicular connector orientation supports compact installation and simplifies cable routing. This helps reduce strain on wiring and improves space utilization.
Q: Why does 8MSA3M.R0-42 use Class F insulation?
A: Class F insulation handles higher winding temperatures that improve thermal durability. It extends operational life during extended duty cycles and high-load applications.
Q: Do the dual connectors on 8MSA3M.R0-42 serve separate functions?
A: Yes, the two circular connectors are functionally dedicated. One is used for power input, and the other for encoder and signal communication.
Q: How does the 6000 RPM rated speed help 8MSA3M.R0-42?
A: 6000 RPM allows high-speed rotation with controlled torque. This enables efficient performance in systems requiring quick acceleration and consistent speed.
