The 8LSA84.S1030D000-0 is an 8LS three-phase synchronous motor model designed and manufactured by B&R. It is a equipped with a highly precise optical encoder with the multi-turn configuration. This encoder stores relevant mechanical and electrical information about the motor, aiding the automatic identification of the motor and its parameter settings. It also detects the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical rotations. The motor’s flange serves as a cooling surface and is used to anchor it to the machine. It can generate a nominal torque of 48.4Nm and maximum torque of 204Nm. Its nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, but it can attain a maximum speed of 3,600 revolutions per minute.
