The 8LSA75.DA030S500-3 is a three-phase synchronous servo motor from B&R Automation in the 8LS Synchronous Motors series. It converts controlled current from a servo amplifier into torque and speed for positioning axes used in conveyors, gantries, and assembly stations. The motor uses the 8LSA configuration, which has a standard housing without reinforced bearings. It is equipped with a heavy-duty holding brake to hold vertical or suspended loads when power is removed.
The motor reaches a rated mechanical speed of 3000 rpm, making it suitable for servo applications that require a high operating speed. A flange dimension of 190 mm sets the mounting size and supports direct attachment to compatible machine faces. Cooling is handled by self-cooling with free air circulation, so no forced ventilation ducts are required around the housing. Power, feedback, and brake conductors are combined in a single-cable hybrid connection, which reduces cable routing complexity.
