The 8LSA65.EB045D200-3 is a three-phase synchronous motor manufactured by B & R Automation for the 8LS Synchronous Motors series. As a servo actuator, it converts drive currents into precise torque for positioning axes, feed drives, and handling modules in industrial automation lines that require fast speed changes and a compact footprint. A 190 mm mounting flange connects directly to compatible gearboxes or machine frames without requiring additional mounting brackets.
This model reaches a rated speed of 4500 rpm, providing a wide operating range before field weakening is required. Feedback is delivered by an inductive EnDat sensor that supports EnDat version 2.1. It provides 19/12 bits of single-turn and multi-turn resolution, respectively, allowing accurate electronic commutation and absolute position recovery after power loss. Cabling exits through an angled swivel connector, allowing the motor leads to be directed toward the control cabinet without increasing installation depth.
