It is intended for controlled motion tasks such as indexing, conveying, and general axis positioning where stable speed response and repeatable movement are required.
The motor reaches a rated speed of 3000 rpm, providing nominal velocity for packaging axes that need steady throughput. The 8LSA housing mates to machinery through a square flange measuring 100 mm, so alignment with gearboxes or belt pulleys follows a common industrial pattern. Rotor position feedback is delivered by a resolver, letting the drive compute vector current even when electrical noise is present. Electrical terminations exit on an angled swivel outlet, so the cable can be routed downward with less strain near the connection point. Maximum backlash at the keyed shaft connection is limited to 6 arcmin.
