Supplied with a smooth shaft and mounting flange, the unit can be coupled to gearboxes or belt-drive assemblies. It converts electrical energy from the servo inverter into precise rotary movement for packaging stations, pick-and-place heads, material-handling axes, and other automated machinery. The standard bearing arrangement is intended for applications in which axial and radial loads remain within the limits established for this motor family.
The motor reaches a maximum speed of 6000 rpm, enabling high surface velocities while remaining within its permitted thermal range. A standard holding brake locks the rotor when the axis is disabled or de-energized, helping prevent unintended movement while the motor is stopped. The keyed circular connection hardware supports secure attachment and quick cable assembly. Load-retention requirements should account for the brake’s intended holding function rather than treating it as a service brake for repeated dynamic stopping.
