The 8LSA43.R0030C600-0 is a three-phase synchronous motor built by B & R Automation for the 8LS Synchronous Motors series. Designed as a compact servo actuator, it converts drive current into torque for positioning and velocity control on packaging lines, pick-and-place bridges, and other motion axes inside automated machines. The unit follows the 8LSA configuration and has a standard mechanical build without reinforced bearings. It attaches through a mounting flange that aligns the stator housing with the machine frame and supports rigid installation on compatible equipment.
Its square flange measures 100 mm, providing a common interface for gearboxes and mounting plates while maintaining a narrow footprint. The motor reaches a rated speed of 3000 rpm, enabling direct coupling to conveyor pulleys or ball-screw nuts that require high-speed operation. Heat is removed through a self-cooling system based on air circulation, so no external fan or liquid cooling circuit is required. Power and feedback cables exit through a top connector that is oriented upward, simplifying cable routing above the motor housing. An integrated oil seal blocks lubricant from migrating along the shaft and helps protect the stator cavity from dust and other contaminants.

The motor uses a smooth shaft, so torque is transferred through clamping couplings rather than keys, reducing stress concentrations along the shaft. Because the motor is supplied without a holding brake, a vertical axis must rely on an external locking device or drive torque to prevent back-driving during a power loss. The length code 3 stator stack provides the active motor length for this configuration. A self-supporting mounting flange secures the motor directly to the machine structure without requiring a separate support bracket.
