8LSA43.E1030C600-3 is an IP65 rated synchronous servo motor. The shaft speeds of synchronous motors are in synch with the power supply frequency. The motors get AC power from a servo drive. 8LS motors from B&R Automation are compatible with ACOPOS drives from the same manufacturer. These motors have separate power and feedback connections. The power cable carries AC power from the drive to the motor. Size of the power cable depends on the motor’s power draw. Use of cables with insufficient cross-sectional area can lead to performance and safety issues. For this reason, B&R specifies the minimum recommended cable size for each of its motors. For the 8LSA43.E1030C600-3 motor, the minimum required cable size is 1.5 mm2.
