The motor reaches a rated speed of 6000 rpm, allowing fast indexing cycles without exceeding thermal limits. Heat produced during operation is removed through self-cooling, which relies on free air circulation around the housing, so no external fan or liquid circuit is required. Electrical power and digital feedback share one hybrid line through the single-cable solution, which reduces cabinet wiring and potential grounding loops. Rotor position and multi-turn count are captured by the inductive EnDat sensor system running on version 2.2, delivering absolute position data with resistance to magnetic stray fields. Mechanical attachment uses a 91.3 mm square flange, ensuring compatibility with compact servo gear stages.
The encoder offers a resolution of 19/12 bits for single-turn and multi-turn tracking, and it continues counting through up to 4096 revolutions without power to support precise homing routines after shutdowns. The motor has no internal brake, so an external device must hold the axis when motion stops.
