Rated for continuous operation at 6000 rpm, the rotor can maintain high peripheral velocity while remaining within the thermal limits of the frame. Position feedback is generated by an Inductive EnDat encoder that transmits digital position data through the EnDat 2.2 protocol, eliminating analog drift and simplifying setup. When power is removed, the shaft is not held because the motor does not have a holding brake, but absolute position is retained over up to 4096 revolutions by the multi-turn counter. Power, feedback, and 24 V auxiliary lines are combined in a single-cable solution, reducing cabinet wiring and improving access to surrounding components. Heat is dissipated through the housing by self-cooling circulation, so no external blower or liquid circuit is required. Torque is transmitted through a keyed shaft, providing positive engagement with a compatible coupling or gearbox. The motor also has a connector-based interface, a length code 5 stator stack, standard bearings, and revision 3 electronics. This configuration is supplied without an oil seal.
