The 8LSA25.E5060C200-3 is a three-phase synchronous motor produced by B&R Automation in the 8LS Synchronous Motors series. It provides rotational power for positioning axes and continuous-duty drives in industrial automation. The motor converts controlled three-phase electrical power into precise shaft motion when paired with a compatible drive inverter. A flange interface secures the housing to the machine, while the smooth shaft supports direct connection to a gearbox, pulley, or clamping coupling. This arrangement is suitable for compact machinery that requires accurate speed and position control without a keyed shaft connection.
Rated operation reaches 6000 rpm, allowing high-speed cycles when the drive inverter supplies the required output frequency. The mechanical interface uses a 58 mm square flange, which aligns the motor with compact actuator frames and mounting plates. Electrical conductors terminate in a connector housing, and the cables exit through a straight top connector to support vertical routing. Heat is removed by self-cooling with free air circulation, so the motor does not require an external fan or liquid-cooling jacket. Its standard bearing arrangement does not include reinforced bearings and is intended for loads within the normal operating range of this motor frame. The connector location provides direct access from above and keeps power and feedback cables away from the shaft coupling area. The oil-seal-free shaft interface is best suited to clean, dry operating areas where the motor is not exposed directly to process fluids.
