The 8AC122.60-3 is a resolver interface module manufactured by B & R Automation for the 8AC Powerlink Modules series. Designed for industrial automation controllers, the unit converts analog resolver feedback into deterministic Powerlink data so that drive axes maintain electrical position accuracy across the network. By housing this function in a modular form factor, the part frees the central CPU from direct resolver conditioning while preserving real-time synchronization on the machine bus. The module processes resolver signals within a bandwidth of 2.5 kHz, allowing it to follow mechanical speeds up to roughly 23,000 rpm before amplitude attenuation appears. Its differential input exhibits an impedance of 10.4 kΩ - j 11.1 kΩ, and the capacitive component shapes the phase lag so the analog sine and cosine remain within the permissible electrical error of ±10 angular minutes.
