This lets one compact interface pass measured motion data from the encoder to the control system while preserving the timing needed for coordinated axis operation. Its communication side transmits data at a baud rate of 625 kbaud, and the internal analog front end maintains a -3 dB signal bandwidth of 300 kHz, allowing sinusoidal incremental channels to pass with minimal attenuation. Differential, symmetrical signaling minimizes noise while tolerating a common-mode swing of ±7 V.
