Product Description:
The 80SD100XD.C011-01 is a B & R Automation stepper motor designed to provide precise and reliable motion control. It offers consistent performance in applications requiring accurate positioning and repeatable movement. This motor supports up to 256 microsteps per step, enabling highly precise control of movement. The smaller increments allow for smoother motion and finer positioning accuracy. The motor can achieve extremely gradual transitions between positions, minimizing mechanical resonance and vibrations for enhanced system stability.
The 80SD100XD.C011-01 supports connection of two stepper motors, allowing it to control and drive two separate motor axes simultaneously. This reduces the need for additional hardware components by integrating dual motor control. The motor is also designed with connections for 2 Hiperface encoders, enabling the module to interface with high-resolution feedback systems on both connected stepper motors. This ensures that both motors can be monitored independently and accurately throughout their range of motion. This enhances the closed-loop control capabilities of the motor, helping to maintain consistent torque and eliminate step loss.
The 80SD100XD.C011-01 operates within a wide input voltage range of 24–64 VDC ±25%, providing flexibility in power supply selection and system integration. This broad voltage tolerance minimizes the risk of voltage-related interruptions or damage, enhancing reliability and operational uptime. The motor supports a continuous current output of 10 A, ensuring stable and consistent power delivery to the connected stepper motors during extended operation. This model features 2 digital inputs rated at 24 VDC that allow it to receive external control signals such as start/stop commands. These inputs enhance system flexibility and allow for greater control customization, improving the motor’s adaptability in diverse motion control applications.
