Product Description:
The 5CFCRD.2048-03 is a compact flash device used by B & R Automation as a memory unit in several of its automation products. The flash has a memory capacity of up to 2 gigabytes and has a very high read and write rate that contributes significantly to the high operation speed of B & R Automation devices. The sophisticated technology of this product makes it unsuited for use in systems that contain compact flash cards from different manufacturers. Under ideal operating conditions, the panel has a Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) measured to be more than 4,000,000 hours. Also, the compact flash can retain stored data for more than 10 years without any corruption in the stored data. The Typical read rate from this compact flash is measured to be about 8 megabits per second, and the continuous writing rate of the product is about 6 megabits per second.
The 5CFCRD.2048-03 compact flash should be used at an ambient temperature that is between 0 to about 70 degrees Celsius. However, during storage or transportation, the flash can be stored at a temperature that falls between -50 to +100 degrees Celsius without any damage to the product.
