Unlike convectional memory units used in industrial systems, this CD ROM is designed to be connected remotely to the industrial PC unit with a Mega Line Cable that connects to the 9-pin DSUB socket present exclusively on the B&R industrial PC. The remote CD-ROM / SuperDisk does not require an external supply voltage as it is efficiently supplied by the system unit.
