The 5A5000.07 is an interface board manufactured by well trained engineers of the reputable B&R automation. This interface board has a unique size design that makes it only suited for use in Provide 5000 and 5600 Industrial Personal Computers (IPCs) series. The interface board is tested and certified to meet international industrial requirements, it is equipped with a new PCMCIA controller which functions as a host bus adapter in the computer. The 5A5000.07 interface board has a length of about 1753 millimeters and a width of 127 millimeters, it is also about 27 millimeters thick. There are two combined interfaces (COM3 and COM4) available on the interface board, the operating mode of these interfaces is automatically selected depending on the electrical connection.
Under normal operating conditions, the 5A5000.07 interface board can maintain optimum performance for more than five years. The two combined interfaces present on the board feature a sophisticated 16 byte First In First Out memory, it is also Plug & Play, and UART16550 compatible.
