The 4PPC30.0702-23C001 Power Panel from B & R Automation is a compact HMI controller with a 7.0" TFT color touchscreen. It features passive cooling, onboard processing and integrated automation capabilities. This device combines efficient operation with responsive interaction for use in industrial control applications.
This 4PPC30.0702-23C001 power panel is equipped with an ARM Cortex-A8 processor running at 1 GHz. It includes 256 MB DRAM and a total L1 cache of 56 kB (24 kB for data and 32 kB for program). The L2 cache is 256 kB. It supports a nonvolatile real time clock with ± 10 ppm accuracy at 25 °C and a resolution of 1 second. The onboard flash memory includes 8 kB FRAM for remanent variables which supports data retention for over 10 years. The panel does not have a mode or node switch. The shortest task class cycle time is 1 ms and the typical instruction cycle time is 0.01 µs. It includes an FPU and runs Automation Runtime AR 4.09 as the bootloader. For user interaction and control status, the panel offers status indicators for supply voltage, operating state, module status, Ethernet, CAN Rx/Tx and RS232 Rx/Tx. It has a reset button and a buzzer for audible feedback but no power button. The passive cooling is employed for thermal regulation.
The display of the 4PPC30.0702-23C001 power panel is a 7.0 inch TFT color screen with WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It supports 16.7 million colors with 8 bit RGB channels.
