The 4C2000.01-110 is part of the 4C PanelWare Panels series by B & R Automation and requires a supply voltage of 24 VDC with a current of 110 mA. Product Description:
The 4C2000.01-110 operator panel is produced by B&R Automation as part of the 4C PanelWare Panels series. Designed as a compact human-machine interface, the unit houses processing logic, memory, and communication ports that let operators issue commands, view process data, and send status messages to programmable controllers. A single display module slot and keypad area make it suitable for machine fronts where space is limited. In automated lines, the panel preserves runtime information through its nonvolatile real-time clock, allowing immediate resynchronization after power is restored.
The panel is powered from a 24 VDC control supply and draws only 110 mA, so it adds minimal load to the cabinet power bus. Three serial interfaces are provided: IF0 and IF1 use RS-232, while IF2 supports RS422/RS485 for longer distances and multidrop wiring. IF0 terminates on a 9-pin D-Type (M) connector that also provides 5 VDC at 200 mA for external electronics. IF1 follows the same pinout but provides 12 VDC at 200 mA for isolated converters or barcode scanners. IF2 is electrically isolated and is routed to a female 9-pin D-Type connector with 5 VDC auxiliary power, which helps reduce ground-loop risk when the panel is linked to remote drives or I/O islands.
The internal controller stores the application in a 256 kByte system ROM, keeps variable data in 256 kByte user RAM, and includes an equal-sized user ROM area. Physical dimensions are kept compact; width and height are each 182 mm, while the housing extends only 55 mm depth behind the mounting plane, which eases installation in shallow enclosures. One display module is factory installed, and up to seven keypad modules can be snapped onto the bezel to expand local command capability. A nonvolatile RTC backup maintains accurate time stamping without external batteries.
