BECKHOFF EL7201-9014 is an EtherCAT Servomotor terminal. This model is designed to control the motion of proprietary and third-party, 3-phase synchronous motors. The EL7201-9014 is a 1-channel device and it comes with 1 x motor brake output connection, 1 x motor feedback input connection, 1 x STO input connection, and 2 x end position input connections. The connection between the terminal device and the motor can be established over an OCT cable. OCT (one cable technology) is a state-of-the-art cabling technology that eliminates the use of multiple cables for motor and encoder connections. However, only OCT supporting motors can be connected through OCT cables.
