The Ethernet/IP interface is used for realization of daisy-chain cabling thanks to the 2-port switch design. The K/E-bus terminals can be used in place of the interface. The CX8095 detects which type is connected during the start-up phase. The TwinCAT runtime environment programs the embedded PC via the fieldbus interface. The basic version of this Beckhoff PC includes a K-bus or E-bus interface and two Ethernet interfaces.
