The CX5120-0125 is an Embedded PC under the CX5120 series. It is a product of the Beckhoff Company, who manufactures state-of-the-art automation and motion technologies. This type utilizes I/O modular level and PC technology. The PC and PLC technology that drives CX5120-0125, makes it ideal for control tasks. The modular I/O enables the embedded PC to be configured according to the task at hand. It is mounted on a DIN rail that significantly reduces installation cost and required mount space. Like other CX embedded PCs, it is designed to tackle tasks that require industrial PC capability at a reduced cost.

The CX5120-0125 comes with an Intel Atom single-core processor which has a 1.46 GHz clock rate. The interfaces of this series resemble the CX5000 series. They include a DVI connection, four USB connections, and two Ethernet interfaces. You can include extra connections via optional interfaces such as CANopen and PROFIBUS. The CX5120-0125 comes in a fanless design and its power consumption is reduced from previous models. It is ideal for PLC or PLC/Motion implementation depending on the TwinCAT environment installed. This is not affected by visualization. This type features a TwinCAT 3 runtime (XAR) and runs on Windows Embedded Standard 7 P 32 bit.
