AX5118-0000-0202 is a 1-axis, Digital Servo Drive with OCT and EtherCAT. The rated supply voltage for this drive is 3 x 100…480 V AC and it is designed to provide up to 12 A output current while operating at the full current resolution. The AX5118-0000-0202 can work with a broad range of motor types from different vendors. This digital servo drive comes with SERCOS™ profile and the availability of EtherCAT makes it capable of high-performance communication with other EtherCAT enabled systems and networks. This servo drive comes from the AX5000 family. Users can consider the interconnection of several AX5000 devices for the construction of a broad, multi-axis system through the AX-bridge system.

This model comes with dedicated, separate connectors for encoder feedback and servo feedback. The AX5118-0000-0202 supports a wide range of motors including; asynchronous, linear, and synchronous and torque motors. EtherCAT technology is one of the finest options available for drive technology as it offers relatively short cycle times, simultaneity and synchronicity. This digital servo drive comes with high-speed capture inputs, integrated mains filter, and a multi-feedback interface. This model comes with 2 x Ethernet connectors for incoming and outgoing EtherCAT line.

The AX5118-0000-0202 is designed to work with up to 400V rated motors. Up to 100 meters is the maximum cable length allowed between the controller and the motor. This servo drive can also be equipped with optional slots for safety cards and expansion cards. These slots can be used by the user according to their unique system requirements. The DC link output connector incorporated in this model can provide up to 875 V DC maximum for external brake resistor. With this model, various safety measures can be achieved through the addition of AX5801 Safety Card.
