The AL2018-0001-0001 is a linear servo motor under the AL2xxx series that comes in a brushless design. The motor has a three-phase construction which is ideal for high-quality servo applications. In conjunction with digital servo drives, it becomes suitable for positioning tasks in machine tools, industrial robotics, transfer lines, handling equipment, and other applications with high requirements for dynamics and stability. It is intended for control by servo drives with speed and torque control. The magnetic plate holds the permanent magnets that bolster the dynamic characteristics of the motor.

The AL2018-0001-0001 has a coil unit that comes in two variations. The N-type and the S type. The N-type has normal speed and current consumption while the S type has a higher maximum speed and current consumption.
