The AL2009-0000-0000 is part of the AL2xxx series of servo motors manufactured by Beckhoff. It is a 3-phase brushless motor that is ideal for high-quality servo applications. It is intended to be driven by servo drives making it ideal for positioning applications in packaging machines, textile machines, handling equipment, and others that require high stability and dynamics. The servo drive performs electronic commutation eliminating the need for brushes. The digital servo drive has to have speed and torque control. The permanent magnets in the magnet plate ensure that the motor achieves high dynamics.

The AL2009-0000-0000 can only be put into operation under the following ambient conditions. An installation altitude of 1000 meters, permissible humidity of 95% without condensation, and an operating temperature of 5 to 40 degrees. The storage temperature range is -25 to 55 degrees and the maximum humidity is 95% non-condensing. During transportation, avoid high mechanical stress by protecting it against vibrations and impacts. This Beckhoff motor comes with a coil unit and a magnet plate. The coil unit can be normal winding (N) or speed winding (S). The latter consumes more current but offers a higher maximum speed. The unit is used as the moving part.
