The EEA-PAM-533-D-30 is a plug-in power amplifier card manufactured by Vickers within the EEA-PAM Power Amplifiers series. The board conditions command and feedback signals so that proportional valves can be driven accurately in closed-loop hydraulic circuits used across industrial automation cells. It mounts on a standard Euro-card rail and provides interface points that isolate the machine controller from high-current spool solenoids.

The module is powered from a field supply of 24 V DC; this voltage energizes the output stages that drive the proportional valve coils. A separate control rail of +15 V feeds the internal signal conditioning circuits, keeping the analog pathways isolated from load transients. Command inputs are referenced to ±10 V at 5 mA, so a controller that can source or sink this small current can deliver the full stroke reference to the valve. The voltage command path presents 47 kΩ of input impedance, limiting loading on the upstream source, while the current summing node has 100 Ω so that a 4–20 mA signal can be read without significant error.
