The EEA-PAM-525-A-32 is a plug-in power amplifier card produced by Vickers within the EEA-PAM Power Amplifiers series. The module mounts in a valve-driver rack and converts low-level command references into controlled coil current for proportional directional or pressure valves on presses, injection machines, and mobile hydraulic platforms. Handling both voltage and current formats, it bridges PLC outputs and hydraulic solenoids to keep spool position stable during automated motion sequences.

The board is energized from a nominal 24 VDC supply, and internal regulators keep it active between 20 VDC and 40 VDC without affecting output linearity. The power stage can deliver 50 W, supporting a peak solenoid current of 2.7 A while the driver idles at 0 V command with only 0.3 A. It accepts two reference formats: a ±10 V voltage signal or a ±20 mA current loop; each input is filtered and scaled before reaching the pulse-width modulator.
