The EEA-AMP-451-A-10 is an analog power amplifier card produced by Vickers for the EEA-PAM Power Amplifiers series. It slides into a standardized Eurocard rack and interfaces between a machine controller and proportional or servovalve coils. By scaling millivolt-level commands to valve drive levels and providing an internal enable interlock, the module supports closed-loop hydraulic position, speed, and pressure regulation in automated presses, die-casting cells, and test stands.

Physical compatibility is set by a board area of 100 mm × 160 mm, and the edge mates with a DIN 41612 F48 male connector that routes power, feedback, and command lines to the rack backplane. The amplifier draws dual rails of ±15 VDC and remains within a maximum consumption of 50 mA, so a low-capacity logic supply is sufficient. Eleven operational stages, highlighted by 11 precision op-amp circuits, provide gain, filtering, and two summing networks that blend reference and feedback signals.
