The EEA-PAM-513-D-32 is a D series power amplifier manufactured by Vickers. The unit has all the features of the manufacturer’s A series of amplifiers barring the gain factor. It supports a closed-loop operation with user-configurable PID feed-forward. The device operates as a general-purpose integrated module. The module can be configured using various potentiometers and nine DIL switches. The amplifier comes with a warranty period of one year. The manufacturer markets its power amplifier under the brand name Vickers.
The front panel of the power amplifier has two green LEDs that get illuminated when there is a 24V input power supply and a 15V output control supply. The card has a Eurocard style design that makes the installation process very easy. When the PID controller is enabled, the load current is less than or equal to 10mA. The amplifier has an ambient storage temperature range between -25°C and +85°C. It features a built-in test function. The mode switch helps in the test loop setting, auto function setting, and test valve setting.
The amplifier has a +/-10V reference voltage. A yellow LED gets illuminated on the front panel when the LED is PID-controller enabled. The unit is CE Certified. The unit is intended for use with the manufacturer’s KCG-3, KCG-6/8 and KX(C)G-6/8 proportional control valves. The device has 47 kilo Ohms analog voltage input impedance.
