Product Description:
The EEA-PAM-126-A-31 Power Amplifier is a reliable and efficient unit that is manufactured by Vickers. This amplifier operates on a 24V DC nominal power supply with an input range of 20V to 40V and can accommodate 10 percent ripple without affecting performance. This power amplifier gives the maximum solenoid current of 2.7A which is reliable for various industrial operations.
This EEA-PAM-126-A-31 amplifier accepts both the voltage and current input signals having a voltage range of 0 to ±10V at 47kΩ impedance and a current range of 0 to ±20mA at 100Ω impedance. This unit allows deadband compensation between 0% and 50% of spool stroke, as well as gain adjustment between 40%-90% for accurate performance tuning. The ramp time is adjustable from 50 ms to 5 seconds. This power amplifier is designed for operations having temperatures from 0°C to 50°C. Protection from highly dangerous and extreme conditions of environments is ensured by this electronic amplifier. This amplifier includes built-in protection against reverse polarity and overload that provides safety for internal circuitry from damage. There are some LED displays that represent power conditions, solenoid operation, overload conditions, plus the status of LVDT failure. With an overall weight of approximately 330g, it has been designed in a compact manner. The electric connections of this power amplifier are assured by a DIN 41612 (F48 Male) connector.
To manage power effectively, the EEA-PAM-126-A-31 Power Amplifier contains a 1000µF, 63V electrolytic capacitor for stable power management. Signal regulation is done precisely by means of diodes and transistors and effective control is created through the operation of these setups called operational amplifiers and signal processors. There is a 2A protection fuse installed into the unit to keep the current flow from exceeding that limit; thus, safety is increased. The backside consists of a large black heatsink, which dissipates heat from the amplifier efficiently and maintains the appropriate operating temperature.
