The V506B-421EL6 is the creation of Sanyo Denki. It is a servo motor and it has various applications related to industrial automation.
The V506B-421EL6 Servo Motor has a line driver 200 P/R encoder which outputs 200 pulses per revolution and provides differential signals (better noise immunity) which is ideal for precise motion control. The maximum safe operating speed of the motor shaft is 5000 rpm and running beyond this speed could cause mechanical failure. The continuous power output of the motor is 60 watts which means when operating at normal conditions it can deliver 60 watts of mechanical power. Under rated conditions the amount of electrical current it consumes is 3. ampere which results in higher torque or output. The insulation class of the module windings is F which suggests it can withstand temperatures up to 155°C. It comes with IP 43 protection rating which makes it protected against solid objects bigger than 1mm and also against spraying water at angles up to 60°. It also includes an electromagnetic brake that operates on 24V DC which is used to hold the position of the shaft when power is removed.
The Super DC Servo Motors series module has a thermal time constant of 30 minutes which means it takes 30 minutes to reach ~63% of its final temperature after a change in thermal load.
