Product Description:

The V506B-412E16 is one of Sanyo Denki’s most popular DC servo motors, streamlined for milling and lathe applications. With a nominal shaft speed of 3000 rpm, this servo motor can deliver a torque output of 0.19 Nm at a power rating of 60 W. At an armature winding voltage of 75 VDC, the corresponding current draw is around 1.2 A. At stall conditions, the machine develops a slightly higher torque than the nominal value. Specifically, this super V motor achieves the following stall output values: 0.24 Nm and 1.3 A. Like other Super V servo motors by Sanyo Denki, this machine employs natural cooling.

Aside from the V506B-412E16’s outstanding nameplate parameters, it also offers an impressive built-in encoder. Specifically, the V506B-412E16 incorporates an open collector incremental encoder with a resolution of 200 pulses per revolution. During operation, this incremental encoder subdivides the whole circle by 200 fixed intervals with respect to some reference. Like other V5 Denki motors, this device has an outer diameter of 51 millimeters and a holding brake. For Super V servo motors, the brake can only hold the rotor in place when the shaft torque is less than its rated holding torque. During nominal operation, this holding brake cannot be used to halt the rotor, especially when the rotor is delivering the nominal torque output.

As a compact servo motor, the V506B-412E16 employs a permanent magnet at its core, allowing efficient operation and rapid shaft acceleration. Like other servo machines designed by Sanyo Denki under the Super V series, this motor can rotate either in the clockwise or anticlockwise direction. Wake Industrial provides a one-year warranty for the V506B-412E16, starting from the purchase date.
