The D8G-516 is a workable 120-mm, 16-mm diameter combination of strength and size. It weighs about 0.85 kg; thus, it is a solid but not too heavy part to be mounted in a servo assembly or a mechanical connection. Along with providing corrosion protection on the side, the black oxide coating also helps in obtaining a reduction in glare and enhancing the durability of the surface.
