Product Description
The RS1A05AC is a sophisticated servo amplifier built by Sanyo Denki with the latest motion control and monitoring technology. This converter is characterized by its reduced housing size and the high response time it maintains during its operation. The motor operates with an improved software system, which increases its measurement efficiency and allows operators to adjust its operation parameters easily to meet specific industrial requirements. The RS1A05AC has an amplifier capacity of about 50 amperes and a main voltage supply requirement of about 200 volts. The input current for this product is about 13.3 amperes; it can also provide an output current of approximately 12 amperes. This product is a three-phase device; it can supply connected motors with an output voltage that falls between 0 to about 326 volts. The encoder type compatible with this amplifier includes a wire-saving incremental encoder and an absolute battery backup method encoder.
The delivery package of the RS1A05AC does not include cables required for its connection to the motor; these are to be ordered separately by operators that require them. Before the RS1A05AC is switched on for operation, it should be connected to a reliable grounding system to prevent electrical accidents. The servo motor to be used with this amplifier is the rotary motor design. The control functions provided by this amplifier include speed control, torque output control and position control. It uses a pulse width modulation sinusoidal drive as its control system.
The power supply link of this amplifier should feature a molded case circuit breaker, which protects the amplifier by turning off the power supply when there is a risk of overcurrent. Other protective accessories that can be used with this amplifier include a noise filter, an electromagnetic contactor and an external regenerative resistor.
