Product Description
The RS1A03AA is an efficient and reliable servo drive developed by Sanyo Denki. These servo drives are commonly used electronic devices made up of circuit boards, microchips, cables, and connectors. They are linked to electric motors in order to regulate their rotation. These drives enable the motor to accelerate, decelerate, halt, or even reverse direction at any moment. They control the motors by regulating and directing the supply of electrical input through the motor's wiring. A motor that does not have a servo drive may spin uncontrolled or not rotate at all. This drive does not need a lot of electrical input to operate as it requires a maximum input voltage of 3x230 V.
This three-phase servo drive has four wires (one neutral and three hot) and operates on three alternating currents with the same frequency. This drive can generate an output current of up to 5.2 A while utilizing an input current of 5.8 A. It shows the high power efficiency and low energy loss of the drive. The Fieldbus protocol CANopen uses a Controller Area Network (CAN) to improve industrial automation, medical devices and embedded systems with efficient, reliable and scalable communication. Real-time performance, along with an effective error detection system, ensures data integrity, which makes this communication protocol appropriate for critical time-sensitive applications. The protocol enables the connection of up to 127 devices to provide flexible scalability, which simplifies system expansion.
The version of the CANopen interface used in this drive is 4.0. This drive has an RJ45 connector that has two ports. This Registered Jack-45 connector acts as a standardized interface and connects the drive to other Local area networks.
