A state-of-the-art servo drive is the Sanyo Denki RS3A03A2HA4W00, that features an EtherCAT® interface and is designed for fast motion control of applications.
With a high rated current of 30 A, this servo drive supplies 230 VAC and operates with robust performance for demanding industrial environments. The drive, with dimensions of 50x160x130mm, features a compact approach that is advantageous for systems that require space efficiency. The device may be small but it does not skimp on the power, as it makes use of a rated power of 7.5 kW and a peak current of 90 A. Built in safety features such as Safe Torque Off (STO) provide integral protection as compliant to safety level SIL3 and ensures safety, complementing high performance enabled by integrated fail safe device. Thanks to convection as its method of cooling, and an IP20 protection class, the RS3A03A2HA4W00 can be used reliably without additional cooling systems in a wide range of installation environments.
It also supports a real-time EtherCAT communication protocol in an automated system. The servo drive can operate within an ambient condition range of 0 to 45° C (32 to 113° F) and therefore has high flexibility to different working conditions.
