The amplifier converts command signals into controlled motor phase current and manages communications with the connected encoder. These functions enable precise velocity and position regulation while allowing the motion controller to coordinate the axis with other machine operations.
The amplifier can deliver up to 50 A of output current, providing headroom for rapid acceleration and short-term overloads. It belongs to the 200 V AC power class, so it connects directly to a standard 200-volt three-phase power source. Motor position is digitized at a 15-bit resolution, providing detailed feedback for closed-loop motion control. Feedback data travels over a Full Duplex Manchester 1.0M link, which supports simultaneous forward and return communication without data collisions.
