Product Description:

The RS2A03A0KA4 is a stellar Sanmotion servo amplifier designed and developed by Sanyo Denki under the Advanced R series. With robust support for various devices and modules, the RS2A03A0KA4 makes servomotor control a lot more convenient. As an amplifier, it can magnify and process control signals during operation. Depending on the state of the connected control signals, the servo amplifier can generate an appropriate output signal that will control the servomotor. Like other advanced Sanmotion servo amplifiers, the RS2A03A0KA4 allocates the EN1 connection port for processing signals from the motor encoder. With a type-0 encoder specification, the RS2A03A0KA4 employs serial encoding to monitor motor parameters during operation.

The RS2A03A0KA4 has a servo rating of 30 A, making it suitable for controlling medium to large servomotors. Specifically, this device is designed for handling a rotary servomotor using an EtherCAT interface. It requires an alternating voltage supply with a nominal value of 200 V. During operation, the RS2A03A0KA4 can dissipate excess power and energy from servomotors using its built-in regenerative and DB resistance. Another unique feature of this servo amplifier is its safe-torque-off feature. The safe torque off feature allows the amplifier to halt motor movement without necessarily cutting power. For this amplifier model, the safe torque-off feature is implemented with a delay circuit.

Similar to other Sanmotion R advanced amplifiers, the RS2A03A0KA4 incorporates a standard LED display for quick parameter monitoring. With its adaptive setup software, motor parameters may simultaneously be monitored and adjusted, improving productivity. Aside from the connection ports for the encoder, servomotor, and industrial PC, the RS2A03A0KA4 may also be connected to another servo amplifier and host device. With Wake Industrial, this unit comes with a one-year warranty.
