Product Description:
RS2A01A2MA3E10 is a RS2 series servo drive. It is designed by Sanyo Denki for industrial motor control applications. The input voltage class for the drive is 200 Volts. Capacity of the servo amplifier is 15 Amps. The amplifier works only with rotary motors, helping keep this speed and position within prescribed limits. It supports serial encoders. Operator operation keys and analog monitor connector are at the front of the drive and are protected by a plastic cover. A 5-digit LED display provides essential diagnostics-related information to aid in troubleshooting. One USB interface is available on the front for connecting to the PC with the setup software. Another USB interface allows connectivity with an additional servo amplifier. The drive supports speed/torque/position control via PWM-based sinusoidal control.
The ambient temperature range for drive use is 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. An internal cooling fan provides improved heat dissipation in hot and humid environments. The elevation of the installation site should ideally be below 1000 meters and the humidity should not exceed 90%. External dimensions of the RS2A01A2MA3E10 drive unit are 160 x 40 x 130 millimeters. Depending on whether an internal regenerative resistor is use or not, the drive weight varies from 0.75 kilograms to 0.8 kilograms. Overcurrent, overload, overheating, over voltage, and over speed are some of the protective functions supported. A dynamic brake circuit is built-into the unit and a regeneration process circuit is also available. The digital operator provides functionality for status display, alarm display, test operation, and parameter setting. Output voltage of the unit can be varied from 0 to 326 Volts and the output current is 2.5 Amps. Only trained staff should operate the unit.
