Product Description:

The RS2A01A0AA0 is part of Sanyo Denki’s advanced R Sanmotion series, designed to be a replacement for the RS1L01AA. Like its predecessor, the RS2A01A0AA0 is a servo amplifier, capable of magnifying digital signals that are relevant for servomotor control. Most Sanmotion R servo amplifiers are characterized by their EtherCAT interface and numerous connection ports for establishing inter-device communication and control. The servo motor is usually connected to the servo amplifier’s voltage output terminal. Since most servomotors do not include protection devices, servo amplifiers such as the RS2A01A0AA0 include protection features and functions. The motor encoder is also connected to the servomotor to establish a feedback loop.

The RS2A01A0AA0, particularly, uses a nominal input voltage of AC200V. With its various compensation and built-in functions, this device can mainly support rotary servo motors. The RS2A01A0AA0 has a rated capacity of 15 amperes and employs a serial encoder during operation. The serial encoder provides a way to monitor the rotor’s angular position, torque, and speed via a valid serial bus line. Aside from its serial encoder, the RS2A01A0AA0 also employs a built-in regenerative resistance and DB resistance. The regenerative resistance is ideal for dissipating excess energy during high-frequency operation.

For rapid monitoring of the motor parameters during operation, the RS2A01A0AA0 incorporates a 5-digit LED display. The LED display updates in real-time depending on the motor parameter being monitored. The setup software for this device allows the amplifier to be configured and reprogrammed for some other application. The software program can also be used to monitor several variables and motor parameters during operation. Similar to RS1 amplifiers, the RS2A01A0AA0 can be configured to support an external regenerative resistor and brake power source.
