By converting a three-phase AC supply into precisely modulated stator currents, the unit serves as the interface between a motion controller and electromechanical axes in packaging, assembly, and semiconductor equipment. This arrangement supports accurate motion profiles during acceleration, constant-speed operation, and controlled stopping.
