Product Description:
The RS1A10AE0 is a servo drive manufactured by Sanyo Denki for the R SANMOTION Servo Drives series. Acting as the power and control interface between a motion controller and a permanent-magnet servomotor, the unit converts three-phase AC power into regulated pulse currents so industrial machinery can position, cut, or convey materials with feedback accuracy. It integrates the primary power conversion and motor-control functions in one enclosure to simplify cabinet layouts.
The power stage can deliver up to 100 A of peak motor current, giving the amplifier sufficient headroom for rapid acceleration. The control electronics operate from a single-phase 200 V AC supply and draw an initial control inrush of 40 A (O-P), so a properly rated circuit breaker is required. The drive maintains a current-loop bandwidth of 600 Hz, supporting tight torque and position regulation. Regenerative energy is dissipated internally through a resistor with a resistance of 10 Ω and a maximum thermal load of 90 W. This internal resistor manages energy produced during frequent deceleration events. The drive also includes a built-in dynamic brake, eliminating the need for separate braking hardware. Leakage current does not exceed 3.0 mA, helping the assembly meet grounded-system safety requirements.
The main power input accepts a 200 V three-phase AC supply, and the surge drawn by the filter capacitors is limited to 18 A (O-P). The speed loop has a range of 1:5000, allowing low-speed indexing and full-speed travel with one motor without changing feedback scaling. For diagnostics, the speed monitor provides 2.0 V ±10% at 1,000 rpm. The torque monitor outputs 2.0 V ±10% when the commanded torque reaches 100%. Field wiring is secured with a terminal tightening torque of 1.18 N·m. The enclosure weighs 5.2 kg, allowing it to be mounted on a panel without heavy supports.
