The RS1A05AAW is a servo amplifier produced by Sanyo Denki within the R SANMOTION Servo Drives series. This unit interfaces between a motion controller and a permanent-magnet motor to supply regulated phase current, making it a core component in positioning tables, pick-and-place heads, and other industrial automation axes. By modulating motor winding voltage in response to feedback signals, it maintains the commanded velocity and torque under changing mechanical loads. The amplifier supports closed-loop motion by continually correcting the motor output as operating conditions change.
The amplifier has a rated capacity of 50 A, providing the peak phase current needed by medium-frame motors during rapid acceleration.
