Product Description:

The RR1A03AEB00 belongs to one of Sanyo Denki’s most prestigious product series, the Sanmotion R. Considered one of the most compact servo drives manufactured by Sanyo Denki, the RR1A03AEB00 employs a well-designed chassis with open slits for ventilation. Like other servo drives manufactured by Sanyo Denki under the Sanmotion R product family, the RR1A03AEB00 contains CN ports for accommodating different devices and signals. To fully support the servomotor, the encoder must be connected to the CN2 port and the motor cables to the U, V, and W terminals. During operation, the RR1A03AEB00 can also accommodate an industrial PC or a larger host or controller device.

Similar to other compact servo drives by Sanyo Denki, the RR1A03AEB00 features an address dial. The address dial allows the servo drive to designate a unique ID for its servomotor. In a large servo system, ensuring unique addresses of servomotors will allow the main controller or host device to issue appropriate commands to the relevant servomotors. Since the servomotor does not include protection devices or processing components, it cannot work without the servo drive. The RR1A03AEB00, in particular, is fit for small-size servo motors having a capacity below 10 kW.

During operation, a set of status LEDs provides the user quick feedback about the drive’s power, alarm, and status. When connected to an industrial PC or host device, generated alarms and status flags in the drive can immediately be addressed. The RR1A03AEB00 by Sanyo Denki needs a DC supply to run and outputs either AC or DC voltage, depending on the servomotor connected. This compact and lightweight servo drive is available alongside a product warranty when procured from Wake Industrial.
