The RF2G21A0A00 is a versatile RF2 servo amplifier, featuring a robust position control mode. As an RF2 servo amplifier, the RF2G21A0A00 uses a MOS-FET control system, which can come in either of the following forms: PWM control and sine wave drive. In PWM control, a series of pulses drives the motor. Depending on the width of the pulses in PWM mode, the motor speed, position, and torque can be controlled. On the other hand, in sine wave drive mode, a sinusoidal wave with varying amplitudes or frequencies may be used to fine-tune the motor parameters during operation.
The RF2G21A0A00, specifically, requires a DC main power supply of 48 V. At most, the drive can tolerate a deviation of 10 percent, corresponding to an input DC supply range of 43.2 V to 52.8 V.
