The PY2A030A3AL is part of a super servo amplifier series built by Sanyo Denki for motion control in production and processing systems. This amplifier is flexible enough to support the operation of industrial applications of all sizes. As part of the PY2 product series, the PY2A030A3AL can perform the same function as the “PY” amplifier series; however, it has a significantly smaller size that makes it perfect for customers with limited spacing for machine installation. The amplifier has been tested and approved to meet the CE and UL (U.S and Canada Version) certification standards. The amplifier does not come with an integrated fuse, so customers are expected to provide a UL-approved fast-blown fuse and install it into the input section of the main circuit to supply the amplifier with power.
The PY2A030A3AL requires a power supply that can provide it with a voltage that falls between 200 to about 230 volts, the grounding of the amplifier by a protective earth terminal that meets at least class 3 is also required for the safe operation of the product. The current supply capacity of this amplifier is about 30 amperes. The hardware type of control unit of the amplifier is the wiring-saved incremental encoder or signal-unavailable absolute encoder.
The PY2A030A3AL provides reliable position, speed, and torque control; it also features a regenerative processing circuit, which makes it possible for the operators to use the product for regenerative by simply connecting a resistor to the amplifier.
