Product Description:
Derived from Sanyo Denki’s PY2 series, the PY2A015H0M86Z01 is a well-rounded amplifier originally designed for reliable control of servo motors. As a PY2 amplifier, this drive offers functions such as regenerative processing, dynamic brake, holding brake excitation timing output, vibration restraining, and servo tuning, among others. Like most of Sanyo Denki drives, the control power is separated from the main circuit power, which allows the alarm output to continue operating even when the main circuit power has stopped due to some fault. With its servo tuning support, the PY2A015H0M86Z01 is capable of both offline and online auto-tuning to dynamically estimate parameters for a given load inertia.
The PY2A015H0M86Z01 employs a selectable power input switch, which allows the user to choose between single-phase or three-phase power input. Regardless of the supply phase, this drive requires a nominal voltage of 200 V. This drive can be operated at either 50 or 60 hertz systems and can tolerate a maximum frequency deviation of at most 3 to 5%. In terms of installation, the PY2A015H0M86Z01 supports both rear and front mounting. In rear mounting, the servo amplifier’s rear side is closest to the mounting structure. Since this drive uses natural convection for cooling, proper ventilation space must be considered during installation.
The PY2A015H0M86Z01 has an amplifier capacity of 15 amperes. With its type-H control unit, this drive utilizes an available absolute sensor as a request signal-available absolute sensor to monitor shaft parameters during operation. The PY2A015H0M86Z01 also employs a rotary switch to facilitate gain switching. Like other Sanyo Denki drives, this module is optimized for rotary servomotors equipped with either an incremental or absolute encoder. Wake Industrial includes an exclusive product warranty with this product upon valid purchase.
