In industrial automation, the unit keeps the drive axis synchronized with position commands while protecting the motor from overcurrent events. The amplifier is rated for 15 A of continuous output, enabling it to drive low-inertia servo motors through rapid acceleration cycles without clipping the current. Rotor position is measured by a feedback encoder that delivers 2,000 P/R. This pulse count provides an angular resolution of 0.18 degrees per pulse, which is suitable for general handling and light machining axes.
